The Moorland Federation became incorporated on 4th September 2017. The main objective of the Governing Body is to provide strategic leadership with the aim of ensuring that the children have the best possible and most rounded education that can be provided within our respective, rural communities. The governors’ primary roles can be summarised as follows:
Providing overall guidance on the direction and character of the schools
Ensuring the schools fulfils their legal obligations
Holding the schools account for the quality, standard and effectiveness of the teaching and learning that they provide
Ensuring that there are adequate plans, and that targets and objectives have been achieved
